History Imtech Telecom, originally founded as Datelnet, became part of the Imtech Group (Imtech N.V) when it was acquired in 2001. Datelnet was specialised in 3 main areas: Construction and Installation of Telecom infrastructure, temporary staff deployment at Telecom operators and system suppliers (sourcing), and Services (Consultancy and Project management). At the time of acquisition Imtech Telecom embarked on a 3-year restructuring program. In parallel the company changed its product portfolio and business model from being a ‘capacity’ provider to a ‘knowledge’ driven organisation as a Telecom System integrator and expanded in the European market with offices in the UK, Belgium and Sweden. |
The international head office of Imtech Telecom is located in ‘s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. During the last phase of reorganisation, the Mobile and Fixed network Construction, Installation and Roll-out business was divested to other Imtech organisations, leaving one main focus for system integration in Telecoms with a best of breed products and services portfolio. |
